How to Spy on MES Embedded device?

How to Spy on a device?  

 

Spying on a device allows a system administrator to view the console of an MES controlled MFD. This is a view only, the MFD cannot be controlled.

Simulating the presentation of a HID card is possible and is explained later.

1)      Remote to the server ALXPAYTECMON

2)      Open Start | All Programs | Monitor Business Machines | MES |MES Administrator

3)      Select the MFD/Service Status TAB

4)      Right mouse click the desired device and select SPY on DEVICE

5)      To end this task press the EXIT button bottom left of open window.

Simulating “Badging your proximity card”

 

1)      Remote to the server ALXPAYTECMON

2)      Open Start | All Programs | Monitor Business Machines | MES |MES Administrator

3)      Select the MFD/Service Status TAB

4)      Right mouse click the desired device and select SPY on DEVICE. With this open Right mouse click the desired device and select SIMULATE CARD DATA

5)      Type in a 3 digit HID card number and press OK. This will confirm if a card can begin a session. To end the session either have a user at the machine press LOGOUT or remotely right mouse click the device and select RESTART SELECTED
